MAKE JULY A JOY!
Sundays in July – After a month or two with a number of visiting preachers, this month we have the benefit of some of our own men leading our services. Please pray earnestly for God to guide in preparation and to use the ministry of his Word mightily to our hearts.
The 3rd, of course has only the morning service which Stuart Beadle will be leading. But then at 4pm till 6pm we shall be holding our Summer Picnic in the New Street garden. Thank you to those who have distributed the flyers around the community. Please pray that the Lord would touch people’s hearts to come along and that we might have suitable weather. Pray too for Tim Hill as he comes to present his magic with a message. And please support this outreach event with your presence. Pray for opportunities to share the love of God with folk there.
Praise God for the encouragements and blessings at Little Verse over these past months. The Little Verse Summer Special takes place on Monday 25th July rounding off this term. Please pray for the Lord’s hand to be upon this event.
For Prayer
For Prayer At the time of writing, we await the news of the arrival of Hannah and Liam’s baby and pray that the Lord will be with them . However, the news of Liam’s father’s death on June 30th brings sadness into that family situation. Please do remember them sympathetically in your prayers. As also with the sudden passing recently of Simon Mason’s brother in law through a road accident, that the Lord would draw close to his sister, Jane and family in their grief.
