January with Jesus! – Jesus be the centre!

Sunday Services

Sundays in Jan – We look forward to a visit from Nigel Hoad on the 15th who, in addition to bringing the Word, will be informing us of the work on the Gateway Project and of Grace 2 London preparations. Andrew Smith will be ministering on Sunday 29th. Please pray for these occasions, but also for our own preachers in January. Stuart is introducing our theme verses for this year—Jeremiah 29: 11-14 and this will be followed by an intermittent series of Sunday morning sermons up to Easter on the book of Jeremiah by Kevin, Steve, Stuart and Matt.

Mens Breakfast

Calling all men! “God and the Energy Question” is the title of the Men’s breakfast, 8.30am on Jan 14th. The speaker will be Dr Tim Bruton. Tim will speaking about the energy crisis, but in the context of Genesis Chapter 1 vs 31 “God saw all that he made and it was very good” – and what that means for us today. Tim has nearly 30 years in the development of Solar Cell technology.

T@4 and other January activities

Please pray for the various activities starting afresh after Christmas, particularly as the second †@4 takes place on Sun 8th. We give thanks for the contact with local folk in both the first †@4 last month and the Carol services.
