May the Lord do great things in our midst. May he surprise us with his blessings.
As mentioned in “Thought for the month”, do please lend your prayer support to the Lord’s work at Rehoboth this month.
With five Sundays, we look forward to the ministry of some of our own preachers, but also on September 15th, to a second visit of our brother, David Smith with his wife and family. Please do your best to be present that day to hear the Lords message through David and to take the opportunity to get to know the family.

Congratulations to those who achieved good results in their exams, and encouragement to those who wished they’d done better. God knows all our needs and meets them one way or the other.
Pray for those with health uncertainties. Give thanks for God’s sustaining strength given to Rick. May he and Katie know daily strength and encouragement. Rick should be going back onto the transplant list in October, though not on the urgent list now that he has his VAD.
Remember Pete & Sue in prayer continually, that they may know the Lord’s strengthening

Don’t forget This year’s Raising Hope Foundation’s annual dinner. They’ll be celebrating the achievements of their ‘ambassadors’ with a hog roast on 21st Sept at the Parrot Inn Forest Green, Surrey from 4.30pm, with food served at 6pm. More information in church.
