Angels turn up in most unexpected places! I last came upon one in a Jacuzzi. Well if it wasn’t an angel it certainly was a messenger from God.
I was taking an early morning swim at a hotel that Rick and I were staying in, last time that we visited Papworth (for Rick’s check-up).
After at least 10 short lengths I felt it only right to relax and recover in the Jacuzzi. I sat there and complained to God about how hard I was finding it to hear him, and although I tried to give him time each day, I wished he would speak a little louder to me.
Then a woman joined me and started to chat, at first this was fine, but then I began to be frustrated that she was interrupting an already difficult quiet time. Now, how could I keep asking God to speak to me with this lady chatting on.
As I half listened to her, she mentioned the word “Church”
“Do you go to church?” I asked
“Yes” she replied, “and I felt quite compelled to come over to you this morning, I knew that God wanted me to talk to you”
She then proceeded to minister words of encouragement to me and then we went our separate ways. I’m sure that she was sent to encourage me, and how sad it would have been if I had ignored her. Just remember: Keep your eyes peeled for any angels that come your way.
