Joys in June
Summer Picnic - A focal local point in June is our Summer picnic in New Street Garden on Sunday 29th June. It is
designed for the community around us. Please read, note and where possible offer your help with the
needs expressed.
Meet up on Saturday 21st June at 9.30am at the church to go out and do all the leaflet distribution for the summer picnic. It was felt that it be nice to get a group of people doing it at the same time to avoid the bulk of delivery falling on
just a few. There might be opportunity also for those who felt able to knock on doors as well as delivering.
Please pray for this important outreach, for suitable weather, folk & families to turn up, Andrew Smith,
as he brings a ’Gospel shot’, for safety, enjoyment and opportunities to share the love of Jesus.
Church Weekend—fast approaching. 4th-6th July at Pilgrim Hall. Thank you for donations received so
far. Other donations will be gratefully received as soon as possible, even if in stages. Please see Steve. Title for the weekend is ‘Postcards from Asia’, speaker Peter Rowan, UK Director of OMF international.
