The Weekend away -
So how was Rehoboth w/e at Pilgrim Hall this year? Very good. Thank you Lord!

Peter Rowan gave us some very helpful and thought provoking Bible studies from Acts and Philippians on the work of mission, going from our own homes and out to the wider world. He often quoted from modern writers and gave helpful illustrations. One of these which touched several people was about the train in Switzerland. It tunnels inside a mountain, runs round in circles in the dark, and comes out at the top into brilliant light. Thank you Peter.

We worshipped God with great Rehoboth music. We enjoyed having our meals together, chatting and getting to know more of each other. All ran smoothly.
Thank you Steve and Stuart.

There was plenty of evidence that the young people had a great time.
Thank you Vicky and team.

Saturday evening was a fun evening. I won’t say more about that – except that our team won! Thank you Gordon. By the way, after we got home I learned that David was not the only man who wouldn’t get out of bed when the fire alarm sounded – and they thought it was the alarm clock! Thank you . . .No, perhaps not!

If you have not joined us for the church weekend up to now and the opportunity comes in the future, do give it a try. You, too may have a midnight awakening!

May Piggott
