Connie Southwood
It was with a mixture of sadness and joy that we heard of the passing of dear Connie Southwood on 28th February. It was a great moment when Connie confessed her Lord in Believer’s Baptism on her 80th Birthday in December 2000. Now after a few years of deteriorating health that have prevented her from worshipping with us, she has been ushered into her Lord’s presence. Her funeral has been arranged for Thursday 19th March.
Ministry
Ministry: Over the past few weeks the elders have received positive feedback from the Fellowship on the excellent ministry of both Calix Furus and William Cockram. William is mid way through his training course with Oakhill College. Thank you Calix & William.
Matthew Steel will be taking the morning service on the 15th and we have a spot for Esther, from Caring for Life who will be sharing a little about the work at Crag Hill Farm, Leeds. Gordon Hamilton will lead the evening service.
Our other visitors this month are Paul & Ruth Reed on the 22nd—it will be good to have them with us again, and Peter & Patsy Jackson from Suffolk on the 29th. Peter is a retired pastor and they are on the Council of Outreach UK. May the Lord bless their ministry and our fellowship over these weekends.
