Ministering in March

So it’s John and Paul whose writings in the Bible we’re considering this month as Calix opens up the gospel (am) and the Philippian letter (pm). With the Holy Spirit’s power upon the ministry of God’s word, it makes for exciting challenges in our lives – if we will receive it. Pray for Calix as he diligently prepares the word week by week. But pray too for Dave Ansell, Stuart Beadle and Gordon Hamilton as they also minister to us this month.

We’re thankful that Pat  is home after her stay in E Surrey hospital and slowly improving in health—but we keep praying for her; also for Don  who is home and getting used to different medication and a new care package. Klaudió  continues with his treatment, and is slowly improving in strength. It’s good that Ramón now has a place arranged at Kingslea School, and Tea is hopeful of a place in due course. There are various needs amongst the Fellowship – please use the daily prayer diary to focus prayer on individuals and families.
Sandra would be grateful for your prayers this month as, as assistant vice chairman of governors at a school in Horsham, she will be on the selection and interview panel for appointing a new headteacher.

Outside our Fellowship, prayer is requested for Maria & Brian at Epsom. Brian is pastor there, and Maria is suffering from an incurable cancer and is in the Royal Marsden Hospital. Prognosis is very poor. We have heard that Pam Porter, wife of Eddie, who was formerly pastor at Borough Green has gone to be with the Lord. May we remember our friends before the throne of grace.

N.B. DON’T FORGET CHURCH AWAY DAY AT PILGRIM HALL. STEVE NEEDS TO KNOW FINAL NUMBERS URGENTLY

Please be prayerful for this Awayday, whether you are able to come or not. It is a day for fellowship in a relaxed environment and for hearing what the Lord would say to us through his word. Pray for Jonathan & Zöe; Pray too for Vicky Piggott-Genge and the children in their sessions. May the Lord do good things in their lives.
