Root Hill Camp

in Important & Interesting!

At the end of May, Isaac spent three days and two nights on the Roothill Camp in Dorking. Matthew went with him and volunteered as a leader. Isaac has taken the time to put together the following to share with you all what he spent his weekend doing:

On the first day I watched people go on a big rope swing over a ditch. On the other days I climbed box hill, went to see cows getting milked and pulled a tractor.

They have two bouncy castles, a bouncy slide and lots of trampolines and really yummy food and beans that make me not gassy. You sleep in tents with other people and I have four new friends.

They have a bit that is like church with some games. We played Zonko and we said Bible Verses like Isaiah 53:6. We had stories about the man with a broken arm and a sword, Gideon, Samson, and a tent peg that killed someone [They did Judges].

I really liked climbing Box Hill, daddy had a good time too. I want to go again next year.

Isaac Steel.
