December Delights!
Looking back, give thanks for the special church members meeting of 3rd December 2015, when, under the Lord’s hand, there was a unanimous decision to call Calix Furus to join us as Pastoral Elder at Rehoboth. We praise God that Calix and Bea responded to that call and have been with us in ministry and fellowship for nearly a year. Pray for Calix as he ministers at our Advent and Christmas services. However, it is a joy to have Brian and Valerie Maidstone with us on December 4th, as Brian preaches and as we share fellowship with our friends from Dorking.
Remember to pray for Christmas evangelistic opportunities – Tea @ 4 Christingle on Sun 4th; Little Verse Nativity on Mon 12th; Fri 16th Carols at 11am in Page Court & in New Street Garden at 6.30pm (help needed for this, please speak to Stuart); Carols by Candlelight on Sun 18th at 5.30pm (thank you to Karl for his Kandles!); invitation card deliveries taking place around Sat 10th, and some doors knocked in the area around the church. May God’s Spirit touch and prompt hearts to respond, and may he be glorified.
Keep praying for Christine —for success in her treatment; Don for his future care; Jean in these difficult days for her; Pat that as she is home now, her condition will improve and her health be stabilised.
