A month of special birthdays: A 90-fold Congratulation to May Piggott, wishing you a very Happy Birthday 19th July. Also to Pete Bradstock celebrating his 60th the same day, and Stuart Beadle his 65th on the 21st. Wishing you all (and others who have perhaps not quite so special birthdays this month) the rich blessing of the Lord.

Please do make sure you have the Outreach picnic in mind – 16th July 4-6pm. Your presence and assistance is valued – and certainly please be praying for those who come into the garden, that there might be opportunity for good conversations. Please, also, let Stuart know if you could help deliver invitations the previous weekend.

In your prayers …
Give thanks that Pat has some improvement in health. It has been good to see her at the piano again. Pray that the gradual reduction in steroids will not trigger adverse effects. The Lord bless you, dear Pat.

Please pray very specially and urgently for Chris  who remains in E Surrey Hospital. She has decided not to have any more chemo treatment and will be receiving palliative care. It has been a difficult decision to make, but we pray the Lord’s grace will be sufficient for her, and Gordon, who himself is having to face further investigation for bowel cancer. Dear Chris & Gordon, may the Lord Jesus be the strength you so need

Among us there are others with health uncertainties, those working through grief, those seeking jobs, those needing help to overcome difficult areas in their lives, those needing to commit themselves fully to following the Lord’s command to repent, believe, be baptised and to join the church here at Rehoboth.

Pray for them please!
