What a blessing and encouragement it is to know that our wonderful Saviour is risen and ascended to heaven, giving us that ‘sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life’.
Thus may the sadness of us laying to rest the body of our dear brother David Piggott on 5th April, be transfigured by the assurance and joy of that certain hope in Christ. The interment will be at Hills cemetery at 11.30am, for family and friends to attend; then a service of Thanksgiving for David’s life will be at 2.30pm at Brighton Road Baptist church.
(It’s family flowers only, but donations in David’s memory may be given for Gideons International or Outreach UK)
