Be warmed and stirred to both worship and serve the Lord, our wonderful risen Saviour, as we share with others the Good News that has changed, and is changing, our lives. And talking of Good News . . .
- On Saturday 10th May we have our ‘Good News for Everyone’ (formerly Gideons) friends holding an after-noon at Rehoboth to tell us about the great work of sharing that good news around the country. That should certainly stir us in our desire to reach out. It’s at 3pm and we are all invited – and there’s tea and cake to follow. Do come. PS. It would help if you could let Rose Dickson know if you planning to attend.
- Matt Steel and work colleagues undertakes his 120 mile walk in aid of Bipolar UK from Mon 9th – Fri13th.
Can you support him by sponsoring him, visit https://accesstoaccesschallenge.wordpress.com and let’s support him too in prayer.
draweth near – have you booked 11th June? Rehoboth Awayday
Please make sure you let Steve know you’re coming to Dalesdown. Paul Brunning from Grace Baptist Mission will be speaking and there will be fellowship together with a light lunch provided.
We have Paul sharing and ministering further on the Sunday, and a Prayer afternoon in the church at the start of the GBM Week of Prayer.
- Just a reminder – Any contributions for the Brighton & Hove City Mission Foodbank would be gratefully received. Current needs are tins of Meat, Fish, Vegetables, Tomatoes & Passata, Soup, Fruit, & Desserts; also Pasta & curry sauces, Noodles & Rice, Instant Coffee and (as they say) Something to make our clients smile.
Please leave any contributions in the box or in a bag at the foot of the stairs at the front of the church. Thank you.
