August, a time for holiday, but life goes on.
We are remembering our pastor Calix as he is in his third week covering the reponsibilties of Jason Murfitt at Christ’s Church, Funchal, Madeira, prior to travelling with the family to Hungary on Tuesday 6th for their family holiday.
May we pray for Calix’s mother, who sustained a fall while with them in Funchal on 2nd August, and will require hospital surgery when she returns to Hungary.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Joan Jones and family on the sad loss of her son on Thursday 1st August. May they really know the comfort and help that the Lord alone can give.
