All Dates are important – but please may we NOTA BENE (Note Well) the following:
≥ Various Christmas related services and happenings are marked in RED on the December dates page. But all are arranged with the desire to honour our Saviour Jesus Christ and to be a means of sharing the Gospel message with those outside.
≥ Please remember to pray earnestly for the Christmas book table we are holding in the Carfax on Saturday 7th – that many passers by, and families busily visiting the market stalls, will stop and take a leaflet or booklet about the real Christmas, and even be ready to have a conversation with us about it. If you feel you could spare a little time to join the team there, it’s between 10am & 2pm, and it would be lovely to see you. Seriously, no pressure!
≥ We pray too for the special focus given to young children and families who come along to the Christingle service on Sunday 8th at 4pm and also the Little Verse Nativity Monday 9th at 10.30am. May the Saviour who came to be with us, give parents a desire to seek Him, and children to understand how much Jesus loves them.
≥ Then our invitations to our Carols by Candlelight and Christmas morning service will need to be distributed. Please say you’ll help. And also pray for the wonderful message of salvation as it’s proclaimed once again this Christmas.

Nearly the end of the year—but the new year beckons . . .
If you’re free on a Tuesday afternoon, we have something for you to take part in, or just enjoy.
It’s our Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship. And while, obviously it tends to be only those who are able to be around in the afternoons, and not at work, who can get there, anyone of any age is very welcome to join us. We’d love to see you.
The group generally meets every other Tuesday at 2.30 pm in the chapel for a time of praise through songs, Bible reading and study, interesting talks on various subjects from a Christian perspective, and at times listening to invited guest speakers from Christian based charities , followed by fellowship over tea coffee and biscuits.
All are welcome.
Dates for the first part of 2025 will be as follows:
Tuesdays January 7th & 21st February 4th & 18th March 4th & 18th April 1st & 15th
Why not set those dates apart to join us – & maybe you would like to bring a friend along too.
