Praise God
Praise God ! for events over the Easter period. After our Good Friday service where Steve brought the challenge as to just who Jesus died for – did he die for you?, then our Easter morning family service when Kevin, with a little explanatory guidance from Elliot, got us twittering, or was it tweeting, the events of that first Easter morning with the challenge ’Do you know this Jesus, who lives, for yourself?’, it was good to share with our friends at Brighton Road Baptist for an Easter Sunday evening of praise. Their minister, Tim Carter led the evening and Stuart’s message challenged our thinking at Eastertime:

1. How well do we remember what Jesus has done?

2. Why do we remember it?

3. What do we actually remember? &

4. What is our call to action?
Pray for ministry this month;

In addition to those of our own ministry team, we welcome a return visit of Brian Maidstone from Dorking – pray for Brian’s ministry on the 11th. Then on the morning of the 18th Trevor Dickerson (Field Director of Outreach UK) as he brings God’s word, will be giving us an insight into training possibilities for one to one evangelism.
Fellowship – - Following our morning with Trevor, everyone, including visitors, is invited to stay on for our Church BBQ. It’s anticipated that this will start about 1pm, but there will be coffee/tea available after the service as usual.

Do plan to stay if you possibly can for our Fellowship BBQ. It’s good to worship together, and it’s good to eat together—very scriptural!

Preaching out this month:
4th David Ansell – Redhill am: 11th Stuart Beadle – URC Horsham am; D Ansell – Slinfold pm
18th D Ansell – BRBC Horsham (taking part in Horsham Crusaders Reunion Service) am
