Notes for November

  • Thankfulness for the Lord’s hand upon the occasion of David & Margaret’s wedding last month. We were able to present a copy of Max Lucado’s ‘Grace for the Moment’ daily readings, on behalf of the church to the new Mr & Mrs Ansell. May they know the blessing of the Lord in the coming days.
  • We’re glad for Stuart & Gill Beadle that at long last they have been able to move into their new home in Southwater
  • This month we welcome Calix Furus and family back again on the 8th, which will be Remembrance Sunday. Please pray for blessing in the ministry and in fellowship with our friends. What a joy it was to know that Claudio was able to confess his Lord in baptism at Copse Road Chapel, Clevedon on the last Sunday in October. May we continue to pray for full physical healing for that young man, and that he will be a blessing to others in the coming days.
  • We’re pleased to report that Abigail  is to be baptised at Brighton Road Baptist on Sunday evening 15th Nov. May the Lord be very real to her as she takes this step of testimony for her Lord.
  • On the 15th we look forward to a visit of our friends David & Joyce Steere. David will be ministering at the Convention on the Saturday evening and then be with us for ministry on the Sunday.
  • We also this month have the opportunity to be updated and challenged about the work of TEAR Fund as Andrew & Rachel Cooke lead our am service on the 22nd. There will be opportunity for donations to be given for TEAR Fund that day. Please be prepared.
  • Please continue to pray for Christine  as she progresses with her cancer treatment. May the Lord give her and Gordon the joy of seeing full restoration to His glory.
  • Continue too to pray for Lauren’s Mum, Julia for healing and wholeness in body and spirit.
  • Remember to be in prayer for the Christianity Explored course that is progressing encouragingly on Friday evenings. Pray for spiritual fruit resulting from the course.
