It was another God-blessed afternoon at our Picnic in New Street Garden on Sunday afternoon 26th June. A good crowd turned in from the surrounding roads to enjoy the bouncy castle, craft work, face painting, balloon modelling, a Little Verse Special and free food!
And, of course, there was a ’Gospel Shot’ from Calix –

That was before Rachel painted the Cuban flag on Calix’s face and added the Hungarian one when he turned the other cheek!
There were a lot of conversations, some with spiritual input, and lots of excited children enjoying the two hour happening.
Thanks are due to all who organised and assisted in constructing and dismantling equipment. But we praise God, as he again answered prayer, giving us fine weather throughout, with the rain starting about half an hour after things had finished.
