A 90-fold Congratulation to David Piggott, wishing you a very Happy Birthday 1st October. Wishing you the rich blessing of the Lord.

Harvest & Mission
Sunday 9th we celebrate our Harvest Thanksgiving, with our friend David Steere ministering for the day.
You are invited to bring tinned and packed items of food to represent the Harvest for our display, and which will then be taken to The Brighton & Hove City Mission for their distribution to needy people in that city. They are grateful for the boxes of foodstuffs and toiletries etc. that we gather during the year and pass to the Mission. Now is our opportunity to give at Harvest time.

Please bring your items either on Saturday morning (8th) between 8.45 and 9 45am, or before service on Sunday morning. Thank you for contributing.

You are also invited to our Harvest Lunch that day after morning service. Please enter your name on the list provided by the lectern.
Sunday 16th We welcome our GBM Mission friend Jason Murfitt for the day to minister and share about the ongoing work up the Amazon around Manacaparu. We are glad as a Fellowship to contribute a small part towards the support of Jason & Andrea’s ministry. Please note that, in addition to him taking morning service, Jason will be sharing a presentation of the work, following tea at the church at 4.30pm. This will replace the normal evening service and, from past experience when Jason came and we were able to put our head between the jaws of a crocodile – will be gripping! Please join us for tea and a challenging talk.

In your prayers …
Give thanks that Jacqui has, at last had her operation (Fri 30/9) and is home and progressing. Pray she will know swift healing and strengthening.
As we give thanks that Chris has been brought through the first part of her treatment, pray that further treatment will be successful in keeping her condition stable—or better still, that God would heal her completely.

Among us there are others with health uncertainties, those working through grief, those seeking jobs, those needing help to overcome difficult areas in their lives, those needing to commit themselves fully to following the Lord’s command to repent, believe, be baptised and to join the church here at Rehoboth. Pray for them please!
And if you’re one of them, don’t delay seek the Lord and ask for help from Calix or one of the other elders..

And please pray for our brother Calix as he seeks to minister the Word of God to us.
