- Thank God it’s about so much more than eggs, chicks and bunnies. Lovely though those are, how much more wonderful is the glorious Good News of salvation at Easter. Please be prayerful for Calix in his ministry this month, and also for Andrew Smith and Matt England as they minister also.
- Spring is a time of new things, or things that have seemed to have died to be renewed with fresh vitality. Praise God, and please be prayerful for Alan and Kaye, who, this month in the morning service on April 23rd, will be committing to renew their marriage vows within the family of the church. Through his wonderful grace, God has brought them to this point where they wish to make a positive recommitment. May His hand be upon them and their children at this time and into the future, so that the Lord will be glorified.
Please continue to remember folk needing our prayers:
- Elizabeth – that test results will be helpful and encouraging.
- Doris – for her to feel more settled at Rosedale.
- June – still suffering with her back, but also cellulitis in her leg. Pray for healing.
- Pat – that gradual reduction of steroid treatment will bring improvement, not complications.
- Christine – that her health will continue to stabilise and that she will feel stronger.
- For those suffering bereavement and the effects of loss and loneliness.
Don Loveday’s funeral takes place at Guildford Crematorium on Monday 3rd April at 1.30pm. Please pray for Steve and Calix as they conduct the service, and also for Don’s family and Jean & family. If any one would like to attend and needs a lift, please speak to Steve.
