A Message from Peter Rabbit!

Dear Friends,

Just the other day I experienced a very shocking event—my head was knocked off! I was just about to spend a few precious moments contemplating a delicious carrot, when, out of the blue, this dishcloth flew through the air and …. yes, you know the rest! Actually, I blame Mrs McGregor (alias Piggott) for carelessness. Thankfully, there was a happy ending to the woeful tale—my head was glued back on and I’m back to normal … or am I? After an experience like that it’s left me not a little shaken, though perhaps not stirred! I leave you to consider this—take care if you think you stand, lest you fall!.

Yours, Peter

Poor Peter – an unfortunate happening but perhaps a warning to those of us who might throw dishcloths of thoughtlessness – words, deeds, etc. that can so hurt other people – sometimes with spiritually fatal consequences.

Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Eph 4:32 The Message
Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out. Colossians 4:5 The Message
