‘April showers bring May flowers’ – an old English saying
Let’s pray that this month the showers of blessing from the preaching and hearing of God’s word, will bring forth fruit (flowers) in people’s lives in the coming month—May that be so!
Pray for those conducting our services – Calix, Stuart, Matt & Andrew Smith. Also for Andrew King, AGBC(SE) Association Secretary, on his first visit to us to preach on Sunday 28th. We are thankful for the support we get through Andrew & others at the Association HQ in London.
Forward Announcement: Ascension Day Service Thursday 9th May at 7.30pm We were encouraged at the first such service we held last year, thus may we set the date aside to join in remembering our Saviour ascending back to His Father’s right hand, awaiting His return.

Give thanks:
We give thanks for our dear sister Margaret Ansell, who was called home to glory on Mothering Sunday 10th March. We pray for David and for her family in their loss. May the Lord grant comfort, encouragement and strengthening for David in his valued work as a deacon in Rehoboth and preacher of the Word.
Funeral & Thanksgiving service for Margaret – Thursday 4th April 10.30am at Trafalgar Road Baptist church. All warmly invited.
