APRIL APPARENTLY!
Easter was a time of blessing and encouragement as Matthew led our Good Friday meditations. Then on Sunday Steve conducted a service for all the family in the morning celebrating the fact of the resurrection, and the Easter message was reinforced when we gathered with our Brighton Rd Baptist friends for Easter Evening Praise. Stuart led the service and Tim Carter, BRBC minister brought a helpful and stirring message from 1 Corinthians 15. Pray that the Gospel message of Easter, whether preached in our churches or on the Carfax on Good Friday may continue to challenge those who heard.

This month we welcome Andrew Smith again, taking two consecutive morning services. Gordon Hamilton, who with Christine often worship with us on Sunday evenings, will be leading an evening service for us, and we welcome back at the end of the month Robert and Marion Taylor, when Robert will be leading our services. We’re thankful too for our own preachers who will faithfully preach the word this month.

Please continue to pray for Doris. She has been in much pain, but thankfully is feeling a little better. May the Lord graciously restore strength and freedom from discomfort.

Praise God that he has enabled Pete to be home again after a serious bout of pneumonia in hospital. We pray for him and Sue that they may truly know the Lord’s strengthening and sustaining. We’re thankful to God that Rick was able to visit Papworth hospital for tests
Please tenderly keep Rick and Katie and the family in your prayers in these days of uncertainty.
