What Does The Faithful Witness Reveal To Us.
Truths -God the Father has entrusted the message to his Son – everything is contained in
Christ’s witness statement .
John 3 v11
I tell you the truth ….our testimony…. Jesus is bringing the message from heaven.
John 15
Everything I have learned from my Father….
Lord Jesus Christ reveals God to us…he was a righteous human being …and in so doing he reveals
our sin.
Christ has come and brought his final revelation to the World..An entrance to Gods kingdom is found
in him.
Jesus delivered Gods message clearly and reverently
What Does The Faithful Witness do for us?
Christ stood for the truth…even when tempted by Satan. At his trials by Roman Authority he faithfully
witnessed to the truth…so he could be the atoning sacrifice for our sine.
Matthew 26 v63
Yes it is as you say…but….
and by telling the truth they called it blasphemy.
Pontius Pilate asked also ‘Are you the Son of God?’ Jesus replied ‘Yes it is as you say’
The sign on the cross read… Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews….. Pilate said …. What I have written I have written…in different languages too.
Jesus Christ spoke the truth at all times even when under duress.
Why can we trust the faithful witness?
Because he is Christ
Revelation 3….Jesus is the Amen. The resurrection that set the seal to all that he is and done.
John 11 v25
I am the resurrection and the life…whoever believes …
He is the life and the resurrection
